The amazing Brent Sprecher delivers the third and final fake trading card for our upcoming Retrostar roleplaying game.
For some insight on the character's gargantuan head, check out this quote from Brent: "The oversized head is supposed to reference how actors would wear giant 'helmets' as aliens on many shows. The 'actor' looks out the mouth and the neck folds hide the seam or zipper."
Fun stuff that really captures the feel of the 1970s-era sci-fi TV shows!
We have decided that the upcoming Slasher Flick supplement, "The Camp Bloodshed Trilogy", will be split up into three separate supplements and released in one to two month intervals. There are several reasons for this decision.
For one thing, the original intent was for each of the three flicks (read: adventures) to be very brief, presenting them as outlines rather than full adventures. As the first flick progressed, it became clear that it deserved the full treatment rather than a glossed-over adventure seed. The flick ended up being much larger than the original projection.
Also, we like to ensure that our products are thoroughly playtested and the second and third flicks haven't been afforded that opportunity yet. The first flick has been playtested numerous times, long before a single word of the supplement had been written.
The entire trilogy will be vastly superior as a result of this revised formatting. We hope you understand.
Cynthia has been asked to be one of the panelists (along with Jon Wick and Rafael Chandler) for #gamenight online discussion for Indie+. The topic will be horror RPGs. It will take place on Saturday, Oct. 18th at 8:00 pm (Central) via Google's "Hangout on Air". So, please zip over and watch the fun and even field your own questions for us. It's going to be a blast!
Later in October, we will be releasing a new Slasher Flick supplement called The Camp Bloodshed Trilogy. It presents a flick and two sequels in a format that is fast, easy to use and flexible.
