Spectrum Games is a design house founded in 2000. The team initially struggled to find an identity and get their work published, but Spectrum's big break came when they published Cartoon Action Hour as a PDF in April 2002. Things took off from there, and in September of that same year, they inked a deal with Zev Shlasinger of Z-Man Games to finally get Cartoon Action Hour published as a full book. Since that time, they have worked almost exclusively with Z-Man, forging a strong relationship in the process. As well as supporting the growing Cartoon Action Hour line, Spectrum has put out a Silver Age superhero RPG supplement called Omlevex, the official Tomorrow Knights RPG, the Midway City tech-noir RPG, and the upcoming post-apocalyptic miniatures game Endgame. You can expect many more high quality gaming products from Spectrum Games as they blaze across the highways of the gaming landscape. Spectrum Games currently consists of Cynthia Celeste Miller and Eddy Webb. You can also learn about us in our Wikipedia entry! |
SG or SGS?In the past, we went by Spectrum Game Studios (aka SGS). Legally, that's still our name, but when we got our spectrum-games.com URL, we decided to shorten our name to Spectrum Games. Think of it as a nickname for us. Either way, we're still the same people! Check out our photo album to see us as well! |
