LIVE-ACTION ROLEPLAYING

"Live-action roleplaying" (LARP for short) is similar to regular roleplaying, but instead of sitting around a table, players dress up in costume and act out their parts as part of an unscripted, interactive play. While Midway City was designed as a typical roleplaying game, we are currently playtesting a set of rules conversions that will allow you to use your regular Midway City character in a LARP environment for 5 people or 50.

We're not going to make you buy all the same rules and books again with a few tweaks for LARP, though. Instead, we plan to offer resources and support for LARP here on the website, making it as easy as possible for you to don your zoot suit and mix it up with your buddies. Once you have the regular Midway City book, you can scoot on over here and pick up the latest to make your own LARP.
